My favorite sounds - birds and cicadas

I always return to the amazing natural sound collection of the Cornell Macaulay Library to listen to these two recordings by Justin Hite and Julian Kapoor. These haunting sounds transport me back to Tawau Hill Park, Sabah, Malaysian Borneo, where I spent four months studying the natural history of suboscine birds, including the Black-headed Pitta.
