PhDone!

I am incredibly excited to announce that I have successfully completed my dissertation and am PhDone! It still feels slightly surreal, but I am so grateful to everyone who helped get me to this point, including all my wonderful lab mates and colleagues at Harvard, all my incredible colleagues and collaborators in Australia, and my wonderfully supportive family and partner. As I reflect over the past years that led to this moment, I am amazed at how many things worked out better than I could have expected -- in ways I could never have imagined, despite pandemic-related uncertainties and delays, and the usual twists and turns that may appear whenever one embarks on a multi-year endeavor. I feel very lucky and grateful to be able to do science and share my love of the natural world and my curiosity about its inner workings!
